I had a client of mine ask me,what can make my engine over heat?

So heres a brief  list.

1.  Coolant leaks (water pump, radiator, heater core, hose’s, freeze plugs, head gasket, engine interal. )

2.  Weak radiator cap ( does not hold rated pressure and allows coolant to boilover )

3.  Coolins system clogged ( deposits built up in radiator or in engine due to maintenance neglect )

4. Thermostat stuck shut

5. Inoperative electric cooling fan

6. Bad fan clutch

7. Missing fan shroud

8. Loose and slipping belt

9.  Antifreeze concentration too low or high

10. Bad water pump

11. Late ignition timing

12. restricted exhaust system

13. Radiator and / fan undersized for application

Thanks for your time
